Gov. Haslam, Protect Innocent Children

Friends,
We have all come to learn of the sad and controversial federal policies being enforced at our nation’s southern border. Today, upon learning of the possible relocation of immigrant children in Tennessee, I delivered the following letter to Governor Haslam. While I hope Congress follows the leadership of Congressman Jim Cooper and his like-minded colleagues and takes appropriate action to reverse these harmful policies, I feel it is important for our state to do whatever possible within its limited jurisdiction to protect innocent children.
